Please Note: Prices are subject to change. We strive to provide accurate estimates over the phone, but final pricing is determined after the groomer assesses your pet's coat type and condition in person. Please double-check your appointment time and date. Arrival times may vary up to 30 minutes earlier or later due to unforeseen circumstances such as prior appointments or traffic. You will be notified if a delay exceeds 30 minutes. Gratuities are appreciated for happy pets and groomers!

Terms and Conditions

I entrust my pet(s) to Rockland Grooming LLC dba Zoomin Groomin for grooming. I understand all due care will be taken for the safety of both pet and groomer. I acknowledge that neglect of my pet's coat can lead to matting, which can cause adverse outcomes including hematoma, itchiness, and redness, and can also contribute to post-grooming problems such as clipper/brush irritation. I understand that accidents, such as nicks from clippers or scissors, can occur if my pet is wiggly or does not remain still, and these are not the fault of the groomer or Zoomin Groomin.

Matting: If my pet's coat is matted, I understand my options are:

I will brush the coat out, and Zoomin Groomin will return at a later date (additional grooming charges will apply).
My pet will receive a shave down. Additional charges ($15-$100, depending on pet size and matting extent) may apply for shave downs or shaving matted ears and tails, at the groomer's discretion. If your pet is booked for a bath or tidy trim and presents with matting, their package will be adjusted to be a full haircut, and a matting fee will be applied.

Impacted Double Coats: If my dog has an impacted double coat, I understand my options are:

I will brush the coat out, and Zoomin Groomin will return at a later date (additional grooming charges will apply).
My pet will receive extra care for impacted coat management at an additional cost based on their weight. If my pet presents with an impacted coat and is not scheduled for a deshedding treatment, I understand I may be charged for the deshedding treatment in addition to the impacted coat fee.

Flea/Tick Policy: Fleas and ticks will not be tolerated. Owners are responsible for keeping their pets flea and tick-free. If fleas are discovered during grooming, Zoomin Groomin may refuse service until the pet is clear. If Zoomin Groomin chooses to treat the fleas/ticks with a medicated shampoo, I agree to an additional $40 charge.

Cancellations: I must notify Zoomin Groomin at least 24 hours prior to my appointment (voicemail or email is acceptable). Failure to do so will result in a $30 Fuel Fee added to my next grooming charge. Zoomin Groomin may cancel appointments due to weather, road conditions, or equipment failure. We will make every effort to contact you for rescheduling. There is a $30 fee for NSF/returned checks; future payments will then be cash-only or require non-refundable prepayment. Same-day cancellations will be processed using the card on file.

Right to Refuse Service: Zoomin Groomin may refuse service if a pet cannot be safely handled. Severely aggressive (tranquilized) pets will not be accommodated. The use of muzzles, Elizabethan collars, slings, and straps is acceptable (see Special Handling Notice below). Grooming may be stopped mid-groom if necessary for the safety of the pet or groomer; I understand I will pay a minimum of the $30 fuel fee. Pets exhibiting aggression, requiring a muzzle, unable to stand for more than 10 minutes, or with a history of seizures or severe anxiety may incur additional fees, determined at the groomer's discretion and potentially added after the grooming session.

Home and Property Damage: Zoomin Groomin is not responsible for damage to my property during service calls (within reason). I authorize Zoomin Groomin to perform grooming while I am away. If I provide a key, Zoomin Groomin is not responsible for any damage or theft. I will provide written instructions via email or signed note if I will be absent.

Medical and Senior Pets: I understand grooming can cause stress that may exacerbate existing conditions or lead to new problems in pets with medical conditions or senior pets. I understand grooming for these pets is for comfort, not appearance. It is my responsibility to inform Zoomin Groomin and the groomer of any medical conditions my pet(s) have and to update them of any changes. I release Zoomin Groomin from liability for any resulting medical issues. I am responsible for all medical bills. In case of emergency, I authorize Zoomin Groomin to seek veterinary care at the nearest clinic. If Zoomin Groomin determines grooming is too stressful, the groom will be stopped, and I will be contacted.

Payment: Zoomin Groomin now requires all clients to keep a valid credit or debit card on file. We accept cash, checks, and credit cards, collected after the groom. A 4% discount is applied for cash or check payments. Please note that groomers may not carry change. Payment is due at the time of service. For payments via provided link, a 24-hour window is given. In the event that payment is not received within 24 hours, Zoomin Groomin reserves the right to charge the card on file for the full invoice amount. Late payments will incur a $10 fee, plus a $5 daily late charge. Same-day cancellation fees will also be processed using the card on file.

Social Media Policy: Zoomin Groomin groomers may take photos of your pet during grooming. Please notify your groomer if you do not want your pet featured on social media. Otherwise, Zoomin Groomin may use these photos for social media or professional portfolios.

Service Guarantee and Adjustment Policy: We want you to be completely happy with your pet's groom. Our policy for addressing any concerns is below:

Haircut Length and Style/Shape: Any concerns about the length, style, or shape of the haircut must be addressed immediately post-groom, while the groomer is still on-site. We are unable to send the groomer back to adjust the haircut after they have departed.
Other Grooming Elements (Nails, Shedding, etc.): For concerns regarding all other grooming elements (nails, shedding, etc.), you have 48 hours post-groom to notify us. Contact us at [Phone Number] or [Email Address] with details. We will then schedule a time to address the issue.

This policy excludes issues from pre-existing conditions, matting discussed prior to the groom, or normal shedding.

Text Message Reminders: I consent to receive appointment reminders and updates via text message from Zoomin Groomin. These messages may include appointment reminders, schedule changes, and service information. My number will not be shared with third parties. I can opt out by replying "STOP." Message and data rates may apply. Reply "HELP" for more information.

Agreement: By accepting this appointment, I agree to the above terms and hold Zoomin Groomin harmless from any claims arising from any known or unknown pre-existing condition of my pet(s). This includes authorizing Zoomin Groomin to act as my agent for emergency veterinary services if I am unavailable and agreeing to pay all associated costs. This includes, but is not limited to, damages, loss, claims, death, injury, or shock related to pre-existing conditions such as advanced age, nervousness, illness, previous injury, skin/coat conditions, or other medical conditions. I have read and understand this agreement.

To ensure that you stay informed and up-to-date with your scheduled appointments with our mobile salon and any important information, we kindly request your consent to receive these communications.

By signing this agreement, you agree to receive text messages from Zoomin Groomin at the mobile number you provide. These messages may include:

Appointment reminders
Schedule changes or updates
Important information related to your services

Please be assured that your mobile number will be used solely for the purposes mentioned above and will not be shared with any third parties.

If you wish to discontinue receiving these messages at any time, you can opt-out by replying "STOP" to any text message you receive from us.

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary. To end messaging from us, you may always reply with STOP. You may also reply with HELP for more information.

I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND MY RIGHT AND OBLIGATIONS AS WRITTEN TERMS IN THIS AGREEMENT FOR THE SERVICES OF PET GROOMING THROUGH ZOOMIN GROOMIN.
